Securing a £100,000 grant over three years for PACTNE from the Forte Charitable Foundation has been one of the proudest moments of my professional journey. While the funding itself is a significant milestone, the real achievement lies in what it will mean for the parents, children, and families who will benefit from PACTNE's work.

This experience reinforced a lesson I have long believed: successful fundraising begins long before an application is written. It starts with listening to communities, understanding their needs, gathering strong evidence, and developing a clear vision for meaningful, lasting impact.

Working alongside PACTNE's trustees and team, I was privileged to lead the research, funding strategy, and development of the successful application. The award reflects not only a compelling proposal but also the dedication, passion, and commitment of everyone involved in the charity's mission.

For me, this is more than a funding success. It demonstrates the value of combining community research with strategic thinking to create sustainable opportunities for charities. Every successful grant strengthens an organisation's ability to deliver lasting change, and that's where the real impact begins.

I'm grateful to the Forte Charitable Foundation for investing in PACTNE's vision and look forward to seeing how this funding helps the charity continue making a positive difference over the next three years.
